This is another one that I was thinking about remixing Lucky 13 into. I'm glad I saved it for Mini 13 though, I'm really happy with the way this turned out. This is my first remix that was made entirely in Shapr3d and I'll likely be using that from now on.
This design is meant to replace the MINI 13 armor. On top of downloading all of my files, you will need to download mini13-armor-foot-2x.stl as well as a full set of MINI 13 frame parts.
I designed this knowing that I'll be printing with a layer height of 0.12 mm. For example, the Hat Belt is 0.72 mm high, the belt itself being 0.36 mm high and the silver buckles being 0.36 mm high.
Assembly is straightforward. Put the glasses in the head before putting the hair on. The hat peg is necessary to avoid having to use supports on either the hat or the head. I suggest using a drop of glue on the peg to help keep the hat on. A bit of glue will be needed to secure the hat belt as well.
In order to print this exactly as it is in the pictures, you will need to swap filament on three different pieces. Once on the Hat Belt, from black to silver. Twice on the Guitar Body, from orange to white to silver and twice on Amp 2, from silver to black and back to silver.
I print everything with a layer height of 0.12 mm and a speed no faster than 50 mm/s. In my experience, printing any faster than that can cause the fit between parts to be too tight, sometimes to the point where they won't fit.
