I drew inspiration for my drawer organizers from Alexandre Chappel's designs found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/chappel/designs

While Alexadre's designs are amazing, they didn't quite meet my needs and had some design features I didn't want. I designed mine from scratch with inspiration from Alexandre's design but definitely wanted to give credit but the "remix" button didn't work so I couldn't link it.

My boxes have vertical sides, no upper lip offset, slightly different label shelf, and I created a different bottom fillet. All of these changes made for a much cleaner print on my printer with less print time for me personally.

The boxes are designed in multiples of 2 inch or 50.8mm cubes for easy organization in a drawer or shelf. The larger boxes have thicker walls and bottom to ensure they are robust enough for nuts/bolts of that size.

Printer:

CR-10S

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.20

Infill:

30%

Filament: Overture PLA Black

Notes:

Experiment with your slicer settings but I suggest at least 30% infill for the label tray which is the only part of the model that should infill. Base it on your printers ability to bridge infill gaps. The rest of the model, such as the sides and bottom are modeled to print with zero infill.

For any 2x2,2x4,4x2,2x6,2x8 print with 3 wall lines and 3 top and bottom layers and you should have solid walls and bottom.

For any 4x4,4x6,4x8 print with 4 wall lines and 4 top and bottom layers and you should have solid walls and bottom.
