JarMart42 made a great parametric door handle bumper meant to be printed in TPU. This simply adds the ability to have more sides to the bumpers.
This is designed to be printed in soft TPU filament to go on a door handle so when the door is opened the bumper will hit the wall and not the door handle. The issue is that the bumper gets turned and the backside of the bumper with only a thin TPU layer becomes the thing hitting the wall absorbing much less of the impact. Having more facets to the bumper should ensure that its always positioned optimally.
I HAVE NOT TESTED ANY OF THESE YET (besides the original one sided one).
Please excuse the comment-less hacky SCAD code. The 3 way implementation is also terrible.
The author remixed this model.
