Use this tool to tighten and tension paracord. Great for pitching tents and quickly, but securely, fastening cord. This has been a common commercial camping product for years, typically made in aluminum, but I redesigned this one to be better for 3D printing.

See how to use this product here --> https://youtu.be/w34OC063BQA

I recently got the chance to give this a real test run out in the wild and it did not disappoint. Survived a whole weekend in the Florida sun, even held up through a small storm. Now if your life depended on it, probably wouldn't trust it, but for small, simple needs, it is great.

Print instructions

The four main factors for printing parts for strength, in order from "most important" to "least important" are:

1) Print Orientation
2) Number of Perimeters
3) Printing Temperature
4) Infill Percentage

Therefore, to maximize strength in this part:

1) Print these flat on the bed for strongest orientation.
2) If using a 0.4mm nozzle, use at least 4 perimeters. If using a 0.6mm nozzle, use at least 3.
3) Whatever material you use, print on the hotter side of what is allowed. More heat = better bond = more strength. I printed mine in PLA at 220C.
4) Used rectilinear infill pattern at 20% infill.
