I thought planetary orbit would be a fun way to take advantage of the rotation on a turntable, so I took a model of the Earth and moon, set them into the 45, and let them turn! They're so small that there's really no detail with my 0.6 mm nozzle, but I'll try again later with my 0.25 mm. Either way, it's still fun to see the gray cheese ball run circles around the pale blue dot!
The .3mf files come sliced it with a color change at the planet start so you can make the base and cap galaxy black (or whatever) and then swap in the colors you want. You can even make the ‘Earth" yellow so it’s the sun!
The author remixed this model.
