Dishwasher Status Indicator (MMU2S)

Simple, elegant, functional!

This is a dishwasher status indicator. Rotate it to "DIRTY" once you empty the dishwasher, rotate to "CLEAN" when you set it to wash. No more shouting across the house. "Is the dishwasher clean or dirty?"

This contains 4 embedded small magnets (5.1mm x 5.9mm x 22mm each). I tried to upload my version with custom GCode just before the layer at 6.2mm is printed, but PrusaPrinters.org wouldn't accept it.

So, for those of sporting a Prusa i3 MK3S or similar and using PrusaSlicer, consider right-clicking on the + when previewing the layer at 6.2mm from the build plate:

Then enter this GCODE:

M300 ; beep

G1 X10.000 Y200.000 E0; Present bed

M300; beep again

M84; disable motors (may not be necessary)

M0; user stop

G28 X Y; Home X and Y (only)

This will pause the print, present the build plate BEFORE it starts layer at 6.2mm, and wait for you to press the button. When this happens, just drop in your magnets and the press the button. =)

Print instructions

I printed everything at 0.2mm and used 10% fill with the default 2 perimeters, but everything you need is in the 3MF file =)

This print is designed for the MMU2S and there are 127 "tool" changes. When I did the one shown above, I had a single intervention due to my MMU2S idler screws being way too loose. Once I fixed those, it ran the rest of the way without incident B)
