I've been wanting to create some Minecraft models but hadn't found what I wanted. I found a chest by Spradlinb and tried it out, but wasn't satisfied with the way the lid was printing. I created this chest from scratch at a 5mm per pixel scale so I could make both the standard and large chest on the Ender 3 S1 bed. I used CA glue to secure the body/lid plates and the panels. Hot glue might work too, but I'm impatient. I ran out of black printing the other model, so dark brown it became. The clasp is fit into a dovetail and glued in place for extra security. The hinge pin is 80mm of 1.75mm filament. Tolerances are tight enough to keep alignment and still have smooth operation. I'm working on a version that will use a 4 layer applique instead of the thicker panels currently used. There is no support required and virtually no infill by design. The interior volume is 70mm x 70mm x 70mm with 50.5mm to the top of the body and 19.5mm inside the lid. I made some nesting bins to fit inside, but the walls are thin and bulge, making them difficult to drop in and pull out. They'll get fixed at some point and I'll upload them. I printed all like colored parts at one time, so 3 set-ups and 3 prints.
Edit: I made the bins and uploaded them here.
