A 3-piece egg shaped birdhouse with built in rain catcher (1 degree tilt) filling two water bowls, a canopy, inner to outer extending perch, with m4 holes for an interior roosting perch, a drainage hole, and hanging loop. Diameter excluding the rain catcher is 150mm. The door hole is 40mm in diameter.
Which came first: the birdhouse or the egghouse?
I've finally printed one out, the walls are a tad too thin, the birdbaths may leak, but some glue or filler would take care of it.
Printed: 3mm layers, 20% infill, no support, no raft
Requires:
4x m3 10mm screws (1 for the perch, 3 for the top and bottom halves)
a stick, skewer or rod that's 4mm or less in diameter (for the roosting perch)
Print flat side down without support.
