9/11/24 Edited to add a file with a little looser tolerance. This should work a little better.

As with anything with threads, the smaller the layer the better. I printed the best version with a .08mm layer and a slower print speed (100mm/s) if you print on a high-speed printer. I tried .1 layer and it was almost as good. .2 layer worked but I wouldn't recommend it because it is harder to thread in, but still doable.

50% infill works well but you can probably get away with less.

I printed it in PLA+ and PETG and both worked fine.

These work with the amazing bike racks made by 1up. This hollow bolt threads into the end of the Quik Rack, Super Duty, and Heavy Duty racks to allow for a length of rope or paracord to be passed through the bolt and tied around the release bar.

I made this after seeing a video on youtube about a mod using something like this. This threads into the holes at the rear end of the bicycle rack and has a passage through the center with rounded edges to keep the wear down on the cord.

1up has an EZ Pull bar that is probably a much more solid solution, but this works well enough. I will be releasing a handle for the paracord in the coming days/weeks so please follow me here for updates.
