I bought this cheap drill press adapter to use a normal drill as a drill press. It's pretty barebones but it does the job.
I'm building a new 3D printer so I needed aluminum extrusions to be drilled to allow blind joints. So I designed a fixture to use with the drill press adapter that allows workpieces to be hold securely in position while drilling. This design can be dropped in from the far side holes, so no need to disassemble the table to use this design.
I might extend the fixture collection with different designs to hold different shapes like cylindric objects.
Bill of materials:
The material needn't to be something special. I've printed them out with ABS, but PLA or PET-G can be used. I recommend 4 perimeters, 40% infill and 5 top/bottom solid layers. Nuts would last longer if they would printed with 100% infill.
PS: Nut piece might be a little bit tight on the threads, it's intentional.
