This is a mount for using a 40mm fan in combination with the CNC machines VZ-Bot ratrig printhead. It's specific for using the Vz-Hextrudort and Rapido hotend.
It is a WIP as I am still building the printead. STEP file is included for corrections and modifications.
It mounts using two screws from the Vz-Hextrudort in the front and one from the printhead in the bottom (see images). It supports itself on the geometry of the print-head, so should be very stable.
I had success with printing it face down with minimal supports painted on as shown in the photo. Screw holes have sacrificial layers where relevant.
Probe and fan attaches with threaded inserts.
