When I got my x7, the original case has some issues.  The face kept coming off (it's just glued on, and not very well).  I used Fusion360 to design a new case for the remote board.  I figured instead of having the face snap/glue on, I would attach it with screws.  This will make sure it doesn't come off.  I reused the magnets from the original case (use caution when removing them).  They are pressed into the new case after heating it with a heat gun.

Parts Required:

  • 4 - 4mm M3 threaded inserts
  • 4 - M3x18 countersink screws
  • 2 - 5x15 magnets (sourced from the original case)
