This is for a generic cake stand with 25mm supports.
A riser raises each tier 25mm.

Notes:

I had to replace the M8 thread with a longer one. I did this by taking 2x M8x50 and dremelling off the end so it was a continuous tread.

I replaced the bottom screw with a regular M8x40

Note that the topmost riser in the image is just for fancy.
also, you will want to tighten everything a bit more than i did in the picture
