As i was unable to find a silicone sock for the Creator 4 hotend, and FlashForge does not offer any either, i designed a mould which allows you to make your own silicone socks fitting the Creator 4 hotend. I used the “TFC TrollFactory Silicone Type 3” which is able to withstand temperatures up to 450°C and it worked flawlessly - however any high temperature casting silicone should do the job.
The mould is designed to be printed with minimal supports and i have split the inner part of the mould (the hotend part) into two parts, so you need to glue them together before use. The reason to do that was to be able to print the part without supports on surfaces which are important for the moulding process (prevent artifacts).
