Green laser pointers are ideal for small telescopes and are available for about $12 on Amazon (and other). As with other finder aids aligning them can be difficult. I designed this ball and socket mount to solve that problem. This particular mount is used on the \u00bd inch rods used in the Hadley telescope but could be easily adapted to mount on any other telescope tube
