A dual color take on Printer42's Fleur Wand. Print the handle in one color and the shaft in another. Upon cutting the wand in PrusaSlicer I noticed that there was already an internal D-shape hole for a connector.
So I modeled up d-shape connector in Onshape. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/2dcd7cc0aed666dfdac68860/w/3ec269fd33df8e46a305f54f/e/279268e86248854de78226ce?renderMode=0&uiState=640fe0b7689e8c3cae959385
A STEP file is also included.
This size had more than enough clearance to fit the wand. could be tighter if you wanted to increase the scale. But I had no issue 3DGlooping the connector to the handle then 3DGlooping the handle assembly to the shaft. https://www.3dgloop.com/
Might be worth it to pick a different orientation for printing the shaft if your print volume supports it. this was the best I could do while minimizing support filament and fitting it in the volume of my Prusa Mini.
