Small press to dry flowers in the microwave. The press is 65mm x 65 mm and printed from PLA. Bottom has a recess for a piece of corrugated cardboard as a cushion, flowers can be dried between 2 pieces of paper towel to absorb moisture. Top press piece is printed with no top or bottom shells and 15% gyroid infill to allow steam to escape and seems strong enough. Recommend using microwave defrost setting to limit power. Flower shown was run on defrost for about 3 minutes. This version printed in PLA and seemed fine in microwave but a more heat resistant filament might be better. Included the Fusion 360 file, probably not the most efficient design approach but it worked.
Printed with .2mm layers and .4mm nozzle. The hinge pin is a piece of 1.75mm filament.
Model is inspired from a Tinkercad Instructable.
