Instead of having a bunch SSDs piled up on my work desk, I made this little storage tray to hold them tidily.

It will hold 5 drives of varying sizes, there's a Sandisk Extreme & Extreme Pro in the photo with storage from 500gb to 2tb.

It's designed so that in theory these could be connected as the wall is low enough that a centre mounted cable will still sit above it. However these can get kind of warm in use so I wouldn't recommend it without first making sure they won't overheat if used this close together.

If you want to use them all connected up maybe consider something other than PLA too just in case.

How I printed this:

CR10S Pro

PLA

3 perimeters

0.24 layer height

0.40 nozzle

10% infill

I used Prusa Slicer to block infill in the walls once the internal floor has printed as the gap is small enough to bridge and it's strong enough for purpose without. With my fairly conservative speed draft settings this printed in about 2.5 hours. I'm sure on a well tuned machine it will be much quicker as its nearly all perimeters.

Haven't included the step file as I was playing around with a lot of different things with this one and frankly the file is a mess! When I get  around to tidying it up I might add it in.
