I've recently been obsessed with modern / mid-century modern furniture design. Feeling all inspired I set off to create a small desk caddy with a modern aesthetic. I also wanted to create a way to easily customize the front of the drawer. Which meant dividing the drawer body and drawer front to allow for an easy color swap. To help inspire you to create a drawer front I've added a blank drawer front to get you started.

Bill of materials:

About 200 grams of filament and super glue.

Printing:

No supports needed. All .stl files have also been setup for optimal printing. So you should be able to slice and go. Depending on your printer you may have some slight bridging defects with the indentation on the top of the caddy.

Filament swap should be done at 3.10 mm or above.

Layer height: .20 mm

Infill: 10%

Assembly:

Assembly is pretty straight forward. Just add some super glue into the pocket on the back of the drawer front. Then press and hold the drawer front on the drawer for a couple of minutes. Slide the drawer in the base and enjoy!

Notes:

If you print please consider sharing your makes.
