Power supply for my 3D printing enclosure

I use Octoprint as a print server and also use the plugin Octorelay to control the light and ventilation in the printer housing.

For my Prusa MK4S / Tukkari TLX housing some modifications have been required:

• LED nozzle light (Nozzle light Prusa MK3S+ von steffanders | printables.com )
• Tukkari LED light (LED Rail for Tukkari case Prusa MK3S von Gpower-Design | printables.com)
• 5V USB fan (12cm diameter) for Tukkari enclosure/HEPA filter (120mm fan | printables.com)
• 12V fan (power supply, Halter für PSU-Lüfter im Tukkari Enclose von Tom | printables.com)

My first free wiring attempt with a test board did worked well but need to had to give way to a permanent solution.

This is my today's setup with the links to potential sources of the material used:

Printserver:

• Raspberry Pi4
• Raspberry 7 inch touch screen with OneNine display housing - black (Raspberry Pi 4 Touchscreen Kit | Welectron)
• Freenove Breakout Board (FREENOVE Breakout Board  | Amazon)

The Freenove Breakout Board is currently my best solution to connect the display and have access to all GPIOs at the same time. I also use it for other projects.

Items for the power supply case:

• 4 Channels LM2596 DC to DC Converter, 13-35V input (4 Channels LM2596 DC to DC Buck Converter | Amazon)
• 4 channel 5V relay modul (Penglin, PENGLIN 1PCS 4 Kanal 5V Relais Modul mit Optokoppler | Amazon)
• 24V 3A AC/DC power supply (Netzteil 24V 3A AC/DC | Amazon)
• 1x USB breakout board (USB 2.0 Breakout | Amazon)

Other:

• 8*0,14mm² cable, ~2 meter (Flachbandkabel 8-fach | eBay)
• cable terminals 0,14mm² (Aderendhülsen-Sortiment | voelkner)
• AWG26 wire, red and black
• DC mounting sockets and jack plugs for 12V,  5.5 x 2.5 (set | Amazon)
• screws M2,3x5 or equivalent (screw set | Amazon)

P.S. Most of the stuff I had on stock due to other DIY and smarthome projects. Please fell free to use the links attached as reference. Soldering the wires to the connectors is quite easy. I will add the connection diagram later on, too.

Update 01/2025:

As the LM2596 DC buck converter is no longer widely available and is also not powerful enough for my cabin lighting, I decided to switch to a more powerful power supply and build a housing. Check it out!:
