I use Octoprint as a print server and also use the plugin Octorelay to control the light and ventilation in the printer housing.

For my Prusa MK4S / Tukkari TLX housing some modifications have been required:

My first free wiring attempt with a test board did worked well but need to had to give way to a permanent solution.

This is my today's setup with the links to potential sources of the material used:

Printserver:

The Freenove Breakout Board is currently my best solution to connect the display and have access to all GPIOs at the same time. I also use it for other projects.

P.S. Most of the stuff I had on stock due to other DIY and smarthome projects. Please fell free to use the links attached as reference. Soldering the wires to the connectors is quite easy. I will add the connection diagram later on, too.

 

Update 01/2025:

As the LM2596 DC buck converter is no longer widely available and is also not powerful enough for my cabin lighting, I decided to switch to a more powerful power supply and build a housing. Check it out!:
