This is a simple easy to print design to convert an Ikea Skadis into a freestanding pegboard. The feet attach to the board using the supplied Ikea hardware. I've uploaded two designs: one with space for an M4 hex nut, and another which relies on the threads from the Ikea mounting screw to cut threads into the foot.

The feet are designed to work with round spacers Ikea provides in the Skadis box. Mount the round spacers on the top of the board and the top will wobble less if the Skadis is flush with a wall (see top corners of the second photo).

Features

  • Uses only the hardware provided in the Skadis package (two M4 hex nuts optional).
  • Incorporates the Skadis round pegs to provide four points of contact on a wall (two from feet, two from pegs).
  • Slim design doesn't waste pegboard space.
  • Prints in ~70 minutes.
  • Uses ~24g of filament.

Recommended Settings

  • Walls: 3
  • Layer Height: 0.28 mm
  • Material: PLA for most uses
  • Supports: Yes (just in the large hole in the front)
  • Change Orientation: No
