Ender 3 S1 Bed Cable Relief

I tried a few Bed Cable Relief but none seemed to work on my Ender 3 S1 (non-pro). So I decided to make my own.

The Ender 3 S1 (non-pro) seems to have the bed cable more to the right/middle than the S1 Pro version. When using the Ender 3 S1 heat bed cable 90° strain relief & deflector by ARCind, the cable rests on the (hot) Y motor, when the bed is fully extended to the front (present print).

I've tried a few of the Bed Cable Relief but none worked for me, so I decided to design my own.

UPDATE!!! @GabrielFerreira has kindly improved my original design. Apart from some clearances, he also extended the bottom part, adding a notch so it can now be secured to the existing screw at the bottom of the print!

Installation:

  • Undo the existing screw at the bottom of the printer (as seen on one the pictures above).
  • Slide the part in place
  • Route the cable over the relief and hold it in place with a zip-tie.
  • Redo the screw so the part is securely locked in place.

Printed sideways, with tree/organic support (see picture). Brims are optional (in my case, if I print really fast I need brims, if I slow my print to 75% I can do fine without it)…
