Made this to gently guide filament from the side of my printer up and over to the center of lid over the bed. I kept having issues with rougher filaments binding in PTFE when it had anything more than VERY gentle curves. I use this with my 400mm V-Core3. It has a cutout on one end for my runout sensor.
There's an adapter you can screw into the runout sensor on the inside, but… I'd suggest just installing a pneumatic fitting and a short length of PTFE extending into the printer. Much lower friction.
It's worked beautifully for me so far, not even having an issue with ProtoPasta Magnetic Iron, which is quite rough textured.
