I needed a cup holder in my car for a mason jar, which is my water jug of choice. I made in in 2 parts partly to remove the need for supports, and partly because it would have been at the edges of my print space.

I included the Fusion 360 files for anybody that wants/needs to adjust the print for their needs.

Print Settings

Printer: Monoprice Maker Select

Rafts: Doesn't Matter

Supports: Doesn't Matter

Resolution: 0.1, but doesn't matter

Infill: 25, doesn't matter

Notes:

The details of the print (resolution, infill, filament, etc) are really up to you. I used Hatchbox PLA, simply because it was on the printer already.

Post-Printing

Post Printing Work

I used E6000 to glue the pieces together only because I had it on hand. Feel free to use whatever you want.

You can do other sanding & smoothing, but I didn't. It's just sitting in the car. ;)

How I Designed This

How I Made This

I measured the cup holder in my car (Ford Fusion) and made the base a tube that size.

Then I measured the mason jar. I made the holder a little bigger to make it easier to use when I'm driving. There is an opening in the bottom of the holder, in case of spills. The hole lines up with the tube base.
