Printing
- All parts can be printed without supports
- 2 perimeters and 10% gyroid infill is sufficient. Most of the design is perimeter walls.
- Shutter can be printed in PLA, but avoid silk or matte PLAs. These are often extremely brittle.
- Customize the sign in CAD or Prusaslicer's text tool (alpha release)
Options
- Size: Large or Small. With careful placement, a small case can be printed on a Prusa Mini.
- Sign: Print vertical for or flat to support filament swaps and custom text.
Assembly
- Slide shutter into the track in the bottom case.
- Align the top case.
- Add staples to hold two halves together. Glue if needed.
- Insert sign. Glue if needed.
