I designed this specifically for my 25mm diameter weight bar set.
I printed most of it in PETG at 4 walls, 4 top layers, 4 bottom layers and I believe 30% infill.
i printed the friction patches in TPU 100%infill
For one complete clamp you will need:
:NOTE: PIVOT ARM HAS ONE HOLE THAT IS SLIGHTLY OBLONG. THIS OVAL HOLE SHOULD BE THE ONE THAT SHARES A BOLT WITH MAIN CLASP HEXED. The included pictures should illustrate the assembly.
I used M3 bolts. I'm pretty sure the main hinge is 32mm, the interior one where the pivot arm connects to clamp top is 23mm and the bolt that connects the clasp to the pivot arm is 30mm. If you have a case of assorted M3 bolts you should be fine. I got mine for maybe 15 bucks or a little less and even though their sizes are not the exact same as printed on the case they've worked well for my projects thus far. The nuts will all press fit into place with a clamping force i.e. I used my slip-joint pliers to press them in.
In the provided images the plain transparent one was my test print in pla which seems to be holding up well about 3 months in. My recommendation is PETG (which is the purple variant you can see in the images) or similar for everything except the friction patches. Those you should print at least 4 per clamp in TPU or other material with some kind of squishability. I used gorilla super glue to attach them to the clamps.
I've also included a less pointy version of MAIN CLASP HEXED that i haven't printed yet but thought might be easier to grip.
