Helps to reduce effects of heat creep issue when using Dragon hotend on your Voron 0.2. My test have shown 30-35% reduction in filament path temperature.

There are 2 designs, one uses air channels to point the airstream directly at the Dragon “throat”, it has built-in supports. Another design uses big openings “ears” on the sides allowing more airflow, but not directing it as good. They both have similar performance, but one with air channels has shown slightly better performance in my tests.

All tests performed using GDSTime 24v 3010 fan at ambient room temperature, measured inside the filament path with a probe at approximately the same location. 

Original flat mount stabilized at 51.7 degrees, fan saver at 49.8, one with air channels at 41.5 and “ears” one 42.0. ambient temperature was the same at 22 degrees, hotend temp was set at 260

 

Air channels have different exit size on purpose. I ran simulations and found that one needed to be smaller to have higher air velocity, it's optimized for the fan rotating counter-clockwise. I believe it could be improved though since I only did a few iterations based on simulations. 

 

Update 2023-03-28: Chamfer on both sides to allow better cable management on either side.
