Update - 29/09/2020
I have removed the 3D printable stand from download as keeping the clock at that high an angle does effect the sand and the strength of the movement. I will design another stand with a lower angle and see how well the clock copes. If all good then I will share the new stand.

This is a magnetic clock that uses ball bearings as hands over a thin layer of sand. Over time, the ball bearings leave trails for the hour and minute circular routes.
This clock is quite calming to stare at and I have become fond of its minimalist look.
Its actually quite easy to assemble. But does use a fair amount of filament (sorry about that).

You will need a high torque clock movement. I used the one below. If you want to use another, check the dimensions, including the dimensions of the stem. This is important!!!

I printed the parts at 0.2mm layer height in PLA.
Also, sorry, it uses a fair amount of filament. I also added some small rubber feet to the base.

The only parts glued together are the Hands with the magnets. Everything else just fits together loose in case you need to gain access to the hands, movement or bearings.
