This is a simple model but it’s one of the very first things I created and designed on my own. I recently started learning Fusion 360 and have been practicing making some simple but functional things like this.
I needed a place to store chopsticks and none of the existing models I found were quite what I was looking for. Many of them intended for the chopsticks to be stored upright, but my cabinet isn’t tall enough for that to be practical. Others were meant to go in a silverware drawer, but that did not work for my needs either. I wanted to store them in a cabinet, next to the bowls and easy to access, but without them falling out. So I made this. The platform is slanted back slightly so that the chopsticks can't fall out on their own.
I made this to fit my particular chopsticks which are 243mm long but it should accommodate ones up to 250mm. I included a model without the text on the front in case someone doesn't want that, or wants to store something other than chopsticks in it. I was really just playing around with the text feature in Fusion 360 to try it out, but then I liked how it turned out with the text so I left it on the one I printed.
This should fit on most printer beds when turned at a 45 degree angle. Here are the print settings I used:
Printer: AnkerMake M5
Filament: PLA (I used Eryone Matte Navy Blue)
Infill: 10% Gyroid (You can increase this if you want it to be sturdier, but I found 10% works fine)
Top Solid Layers: At least 5
Supports: No
Layer Height: 0.2mm
