Design:

I have created this model with the following considerations:

1. efficiently guide air to the back of the baseplate and into hotend
2. ultra-lightweight
3. much stiffer probe mount
4. better clearance to extruder lever
5. snap-on mount for the 5015 blower
6. reuse original screws only

Printing instructions:

• you need to print BOTH MODELS backplate + 5015 mount
• printing orientation on bed as shown in picture
• material: use PETG or better (avoid PLA, due to low heat resistance)
• layer height: 0.2mm or smaller
• use 5 perimeters
• supports on build plate only
• infill: any

Fitting instructions:

1. disassemble the extruder and replace the backplate using original screws
2. use 24 Volt 5015 blower and splice/solder/crimp onto a stock connector
3. file down small amount of plastic on the bottom part of the blower → this will ensure a tight fit in part
4. snap-on the blower and rotate it in it's final position
5. secure the fan with a glue gun
6. don't forget to do a PID calibration for your extruder !!!
