A pencil / desk organizer made from the “skull_geant” model that is practically everywhere. (I do not know the original owner, otherwise i would credit them).
I made holes into it for pencils or screwdrivers in various sizes, with a rectangular hole in the center for calipers or something similar.
I shared it as a 3mf file so you can adjust the holes to suit your needs, i created them with negative space objects in PrusaSlicer.
The other files are a printable version of the base as well as a concrete pouring mould, with two holes for M3 Bolts.
Matching holes for M3 heat set inserts are in the bottom of the skull. If you do not want to use heat set inserts, you can change the negative volumes on the bottom, e.g. to 2.5mm so you can use an M3 tap to create a thread in the plastic.
Before pouring the concrete you should close the slot in the back with tape.
The slot will help to break apart the mould after the concrete has set.
I recommend to use some lubricating spray like WD40 or similar on the mould before pouring to make separating it from the concrete easier afterwards.
The two pillars with the bolt holes in the bottom are meant to stay in the part. just peel away as much of the plastic from the top as you can, everything that stays will be hidden by the skull.
I printed it with the 0.2mm layer height preset on my Prusa Mini+ in Overture Matte Black PLA, with 5% lightning infill and custom supports (should all be in the 3mf project) and it turned out great.
I hope you like it :)
