I needed a tray for my kids cash register, so I designed one.
It is intended for spiral vase mode print for fun and profit. (Well, saving time and filament that is).
The attached FreeCAD file can be parameterized via the data
spreadsheet. Besides length, width, height and bottom and side radius, the “steepness” of the box can be controlled via the Wall Gap
parameter, i.e., the delta between the top dimensions and bottom dimensions on each side. See the attached drawing for more details.
I've attached the .3mf
from PrusaSlicer with the settings I used for my print. I basically enabled “Spiral vase” in the “Printer Settings”, accepted all suggested changes and changed the “Extrusion Width” (Advanced Settings) modified the “Perimenter” and “External Primenter” to 0.8mm. Printed with a 0.4 nozzle in PLA.
