• First Layer:  White (eyes)
• Second layer:  Yellow (scarf and buckle)
• Third layer:  Red (shirt)
• Fourth layer:  Orange (hair)
• Fifth layer:  green (gun color)
• Sixth layer:  Blue (pants under chaps)
• Seventh layer:  Tan (skin)
• Eighth layer:  Brown (layered with 3 shades for hat > belt > chaps)
• Ninth layer:  Black (outline)

Sam was a little tricky because there are so many colors in his design, and multiple shades of brown.  I only have one brown and a tan, but found my brown can layer nicely for a few different shades.  So, the skin is the tan, then the hat is a single .2mm layer of brown for the lighter shade, followed by a second and third layer for the belt and chaps which are slightly different shades.  If you have a lighter brown in addition (for the hat), you can add another color change between the Tan and Brown at 3.6 or 3.8 for the belt and chaps.
