Convert your Corsair Vengeance K70 to USB-C

You will need the following breakout board or similar:
Simple USB C Socket Breakout : ID 5180 : $1.75 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits

In the process you will lose the second USB-A passthrough unless you also hide a small USB hub inside the keyboard (see photo). This will give you some ability to add other attachments. There is some space inside the keyboard to embed other accessories. I used it to include a Smart Card reader.
