Customizable Cage Clip Fixing

This is a customizable hook or eye fixing that can be attached to the bars of your pet’s cage, so you can hang toys, hammocks etc from the inside. Obviously, cages are already pretty good for hanging stuff on, however, these fixing clips give even greater versatility and prevent things from sliding around.

The clips attach with a simple 90° swivel motion.

These fixings work really well in conjunction with C-clips and D-clips. (see photos)

Files to Download:

• Cage_Clip_Fixings.scad
• Hook_Import.stl
• Eye_Import.stl

The scad file imports the geometry of the hook and eye. So you need to download all three of these files.

Never used OpenSCAD before?

Don't worry.   OpenSCAD is free to Download and only around 14MB in size. I've made this Scad file as easy as possible for ANYONE to use. You don’t need to be familiar with OpenSCAD or programming to use it.  Just change the values of a few, well-labelled, settings in the Customizer window.    Menu Bar > Window > Customizer

If you’re not already familiar with OpenScad check out the video link below, it will give you a very quick overview of the user interface, which is all you need to know for this project. Unfutintly the video doesn't mention the Customizer window as it predates its introduction.(you might want to jump the first 1:30 min)
