I had this HMTECH brand (generic) Raspberry Pi screen 7" that uses HDMI and USB. While it has a VZBot logo and was made for my vzbot, it should work with any screen that is similar to size than the HMTECH (different brands have the same hardware) and any printer that uses 2020 or 20xx extrusions.
Since I couldn't find a spot to add it to the usual enclosure on the vzbot, I added a protruding piece of extrusion to hold it.
You will need to print one of each Frame, Bracket, back, and four spacers. The tolerance is a little tight on the frame, so you may need to file/sand a little bit or print it with a slight scaling depending on what kind of shrinkage the filament you use has, or how much the printer sizes are exact.
You will also need:
Quantity | Material | Description |
4 | M3 Heat inserts | They go on the frame so everything can be screwed together |
4 | M3x12 screws | To hold stuff together. 10,12, or similar should work |
1 | M6x40 bolt | Works as the core for the swivel bracket |
1 | M6 nut | I used a nylon lock nut but others will work too |
1 | M6 washer | Just for protection for the screw head |
There's a photo zoomed on the screws that show how it should look in the end, but you want in this order:
Frame → LCD Screen → Spacer → Back, and then hold it down with the M3 screws.
