This is my take on a side spool mount for the Bambu Labs P1P. It utilizes the stock spool mount and the 2 stock screws for the spool mount. The reason why I wanted it this way was because I am using the Spool Roller modification by thrutheframe. This model utilizes 2x 608 bearings (which I actually 3D printed as well from here!) to allow your spool to roll more freely on bearings instead of rubbing on the mount.
This model is a remix from bookledge. It clamps right onto the P1P's frame and requires no hardware to get a very secure & snug fit on the printer. I took their mount and modified the shape a bit and added 2 screw holes for the stock spool mount screws to fit in. The screw holes are 2.7mm wide which should allow you to comfortably thread the stock M3 screws into them. Make sure to line the screws up just right while threading them in. It will be a bit difficult to thread them in for the first time because you will be threading into plastic. If you are having trouble threading the screws in I would recommend trying to thread them in first without the spool holder just to create the threads and make it a bit easier, but I did not personally have to do this.
I printed mine in PETG, but PLA should work fine too. I used a 20% gyroid infill and 3 wall loops. No supports required. No additional hardware required, however replacing the PTFE tube where you insert the filament with a bit of a longer piece may help prevent the filament from rubbing on the frame of the printer.
