STL file contains only a new shaft and an adapter to fit it to the original metal fitting that connects with the chainsaw side plate. The original end marker simply slides over the end. so far it has survived use, it is flexible enough to bend
rPLA, 0.2 layer height, nothing special!
UPDATE: I snapped it again - being lazy when felling. originally used something like 25% infill as I thought it might add flexibilty. New one printed with 75%, much better!
UPDATE II: snapped again, likely best printed with PETG!
UPDATE III: PETG version snapped too (where the shaft meets the lower socket), I think it is something to do with the high frequency vibration! This is possibly NOT the solution you are looking for! ;0)
