I initially printed the light diffuser dome for my living room ceiling fan as the bulbs are quite bright and blinding if you glance in their direction. However, I quickly found the original diffuser was designed with full-size bulbs in mind. I had bought half-height bulbs specifically because my ceiling fan is low, and I'd constantly hit it when playing VR. The smaller bulbs raise the ceiling and greatly reduce the chance of smacking it while playing Beat Saber.
So, I designed a dome specifically to fit these smaller bulbs and not stick out much lower. I was also getting frustrated with the dome cracking while trying to remove supports, so I made a flat edge to serve as a base for the print and results in minimal supports.
I printed mine on an Anycubic Kobra with glow-in-the-dark PLA, giving it a cool green glow after turning the light off.
