Protective Ski & Snowboard Vehicle Mount (Magnetic)

See my updated compact version, best for 1 pair of skis.

I kept getting ads for “SnoStrips”, a kind of unecessary way to keep your skis upright when getting dressed before hitting the slopes. “$50?!” I thought - “I could make that.” And so I did.

Been getting into printing with TPU, and it seemed like a great material to protect the outside of the car.

This is 3 piece model:

• flexible upper to protect your skis
• rigid inner skeleton to maintain structure
• flexible base (with magnet holes) to protect your car

I found these square magnets at Lowes and 4 of them work like a charm (3 did not). These are similar, but not exactly what I used.
