I am using a DC-DC Step Up / Down Buck Converter for my photovoltaik system to reduce the current over night when in battery mode.

Therefore I wanted to mount the converter next to the other electrical parts.

The two different mounts have a clearance of 10mm or 20mm to improve heat dissipation and to ensure there are no short circuits due to the pins standing out of the back of the PCB.

It is designed to use M3 threaded inserts (Ruthex M3Sx4.0) like shown on the picture so the converter can be mounted via four M3 screws in total (using two mounting brackets).

Printed with:

  • Bavaria Filaments V18.1 (~ASA) Grey @250°C on Anycubic Mega X (direct drive)
  • 0.4mm nozzle
  • 0.2mm layer hight
  • 40% grid infill
