Needle File Holder - 3 in 1 Carry Case/ Desk Stand/ Wall Mount

Has your wallet for your needle files fallen apart or got wet and rusty? Here is a 3 in 1 carry case/ desk stand/ wall mount with a customizable pannel for the profiles so you can always grab the one you need

The lid clips on to the back in 2 different places to get it to stand up on a desk or allow it to be wall mounted and still have the lid handy if you need to take them somewhere

I wanted a tight fit so it has been modeled with no tolerances, so it does need some post processing to get some things to fit right depending on how well your printer is running, but if you have a small file (or ten) its not too bad to clean up

Holder and Lid can be printed at the same time, but the pannel for the profiles should be printed with a smaller nozzle if possible, the pannel can be glued in place or melted with a soldering iron if like me you dont have a good glue for PLA

Standard Cura settings for PLA, 0.6mm/0.4mm nozzle, low quality preset (0.28mm) unless specified

2 walls (0.6mm nozzle) 3 walls (0.4mm nozzle)

3 top and bottom layers

10% infill (Cubic Subdivision)

normal support, touching buildplate only

uses a sacrificial bridge to help start the cut out on the holder so bridging must be enabled

File Profiles Pannel:

it can be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle but 0.2mm nozzle is prefered

download the .stl and use Tinkercad to adjust it to the file profiles you have by cutting and copying, there are 2 examples of the pannel for the files i have
