Shoulder stock for Benjamin Trail NP Mark II .177 caliber air pistol.
Could not find anything serious online for this break action/nitro piston, air pistol, so I decided to create my own mod.
For this mod you will need 20mm Carbon Fiber Tube
7/16" 18mm long Bolt, couple of nuts. Place the nuts into plastic insert and glue them into the CF tube, with epoxy or CA glue. When done tube will be screwing into the back of the gun.
Gun part uses brass threaded insert, for original bolt size. (you can buy those on amazon as a kit with different sizes) Bolt goes in to the gun part with threaded part facing outside.
glue the bolt into the gun part. I used CA glue, epoxy would work too.
tried printing this with PETG And dimensions were accurate. But then I printed it with ASA it shrunk a bit, so be aware of that. ASA is comparable to ABS. I had to increase retraction to 1mm for ASA and used nozzle temp 245c and bed temp 100c. Unlike ABS, in my experience ASA likes fan on about 50% after the first layer. Tried printing on PCB surface and ASA did not like that, but printed ok on PEI sheet, also had to place a cardboard box around the printer on the front size facing the door to prevent warping.
This mod along with the trigger mod, makes this gun very accurate and reliable. Have a red dot scope on it, and off the shoulder I can hit a group size of a quarter at 20 yards, every single time. All the bad reviews online for this gun are there because this gun is lacking these two things. It's awkward to hold in your hands, given the weight and trigger needs one spring removed, there is a YouTube video on it.
Hope you enjoy printing this and let me know how it worked for you.
…. another mod for better ergonomics… Original print, which was printed out of PETG broke, so I printed it out of ASA.. Rock solid now.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
