Whimsical Dodecahedron Lamp - A19 E26 Bulb

This remix includes a new base design for the whimsical dodecahedron lamp that allows it to work with an A19 E36 bulb instead.

I already had a Wi-Fi enabled LED bulb handy which I thought would fit well into this design . So I modeled a base to hold a socket for it.

The base comes in two parts. The first is the main base which is similar to the original design except that it has a large hole in the center. This hole is for guiding the socket through when assembling. It also has a different cord guide due to the need for something larger.

The second part is the socket holder. This is meant to slide into the base vertically and then be turned so that it is held in place for a relatively tight fit.

Print instructions

You can print the base in 2 colors if you want by inserting a color change between the round bottom part and the pentagonal top part.
