NA NB Miata Throttle Extension

This is my take on a Miata throttle extention. Makes heel/toe shifting easier for my small feet. It adds 25mm to the width.

I printed the one pictured in ASA, I also printed some prototypes in ABS and both seem strong. I used M4 heat-set inserts and button head screws.

This was designed to be printed upside down as shown in the photo. No supports are needed. You should probably use a 5mm or so brim. I was able to print one without a brim but it wasn't as clean of a print. I printed at 0.2mm layer height and 50% infill. Lower infill prototypes also seemed fine.

I'm not the best at CAD. I designed this by taking some pictures and traces of the pedal and importing those into Fusion 360. It wasn't perfect but with a few tweaks I'm very happy with the result. I have included the source file from Fusion 360 also. I used parameters where I could to make tweaking things a little easier but it's still a house of cards. Make changes at your own peril.
