With its flat bottom, this version is designed to spend some of its life standing upright on a tabletop instead of always hanging in its usual spot.
Directions
- Print the bin with zero bottom layers and zero infill, but with at least 3.5mm of top layers to support and strengthen the hook. Total width of all perimeter extrusions should be in the range of 1.1 to 1.4 mm. I suggest a brim for good first-layer adhesion.
- Print the crayon-box pedestal with some infill but no top or bottom layers.
- Put the pedestal in the bin's largest compartment. Put a crayon box on top.
- Put pens, pencils, and markers in the next largest compartment.
- Put one of those parallelogram-shaped pink erasers in the eraser compartment.
- Hang the bin on the edge of a larger box.
- Move the bin to a table whenever needed. Because of the stabilizing feet in its base, it won't easily tip over.

The author remixed this model.
Differences of the remix compared to the original
The bottom is now flat, not multi-tiered, in order to allow it to stand upright on a table. To increase stability when standing, feet are now included as well. To compensate for the elimination of a tier specific to the crayon box, a pedestal to be placed inside that compartment is now included.
