Universal Frame Mount for MK3s

This is a clamp-style mount designed to attach anything to the Prusa MK3s frame, top or sides. It tightens with a screw and can be positioned anywhere. It provides two mounting holes on the top, two on the bottom, and four on the back, with slots to insert square M3 nuts for each hole. The distance between all mounting holes is 14 mm on center.

The mount does not interfere with the moving parts of the printer. Here is an example of an attachment for the mount:

The mount prints with no supports. You will need a square M3 nut, and a 40 mm M3 screw for the short version (for clamping to the top of the frame), or a 50 mm M3 screw for the long version (for clamping to the sides of the frame).

Print instructions

I printed this in PETG with 0.15mm layer height, but 0.2mm should be fine, too. No supports required. The screw hole for the long screw needed a little clean up (just run the screw through it 2-3 times.
