Chopsticks Ribbon Holder

A simple flowing ribbon to suspend your chopsticks above the table surface & to give the appearance that the chopsticks are piercing the ribbon. 

The part is approx. 250mm long and just 1.5mm thick to make the ribbon effect more believable. The design intent is to print fast with no infill (perimeters only) which will allow for just a little bit of flex along its length. This also aids the tactile enjoyment of stowing & unstowing the chopsticks :)

Can be placed in two different orientations….

Printing

For both of the above orientations, you should always print with ribon edge sat on the print bed. This, along with the fact holes have been employed throughout the ribbon, means there is no need for any supports. 

As mentioned, try with perimeters only or a sparse infill if you want some flex! Go on, why not! It's a bit of fun after all :)
