Update: I noticed that the previous size wasn't fitting any of the newer Overture rolls. I uploaded version 2, which has a nice snug fit.
A plastic insert for Overture filament rolls. I wanted something to keep the cardboard from rubbing against the spool holder, so I made an insert to prevent it. I've been using this as a “first print” for new filament rolls so it'll double as a filament sample too.
I've uploaded the .f3d file if anyone wants to remix it to fit other filament brands that use cardboard rolls.
Everything was printed with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 15% infill at 250mm/s on an AnkerMake M5. No supports or brims are needed. Each of the .stl's are oriented properly and should be ready to be sliced and printed.
Adhesion Issues?
Try printing with a 8-10mm brim.
Quality Issues?
Try printing at a slower speed (start decreasing the speed by 10-15mm/s).
There is only one part for this model, however I've uploaded two .stl's.. one with one insert and the other with two inserts. Use version 2 for newer Overture rolls.
