Change Log:
- V2 - June 23
- Changed design of “Mag well” to be top loading, removing the need for screws and additional parts
- Added ~.5mm to the thickness of the “Mag Bar” to improve its lifespan
- Designed a new “Thick” mag Bar that is much thicker and now comptable with FDM printing
- Previous version is still available under the V1 folder

2. Push out two rear receiver pins and split upper and lower (same process as installing a battery)
3. Pull the mag release bar to the side
4. Install the “Mag Well”. will be fully installed when the window lines up, will sit slightly recessed from the lower receiver
5. Reseat the mag release bar. be sure the second release arm lines up

- Can be printed from almost any material.
- I used ABS, But PLA would also be fine
- No Supports are required
- Be sure the thin walls are solid
- Some minor post process cleanup may be required on the window depending on the quality of your print
- use adhesion aids like brim or raft as required
- Print orientation as shown in the photo below
-556 Mag Bar-
Two configurations are available. with recommendations for each listed below
- Standard/SLA
- Slimmer more esthetic option
- Will require a high strength “Engineering” resin
- I have been using Siraya Tech Blu Nylon black with good results
- Thick/FDM
- Recommended if you don't have access to high end resins
- Optimized for FDM, may also be made via SLA
- Print with “556” down onto the bed
- use 100% infill
- No supports required
- use fine layer height - 0.2mm or less
- print in the strongest material you have access to
- I've done limited testing with ABS and getting good results
- Pre-Supported models are available for both
